TITLE: The Power of Big Dreams and the Boldness to Make Them Happen

Author, Marianne Williamson’s simple yet powerful statement: “As we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same,” applies to this year’s theme, “Sharing the Power of Dare to Achieve.” Pushing past self (or other) imposed limitations, working hard, staying focused, daring to look and be our best, and achieving our goals, helps our light to shine bright! We radiate an air of personal power and self confidence that spurs us onto greater heights, while simultaneously challenging, inspiring and encouraging others to do the same. Encountering that air of power and confidence begs the questions from others: “How did you do it?” “How can I get some of that?” That’s when you get the priceless opportunity to “Share the Power of Dare to Achieve.” You become the voice of encouragement and living proof that it is possible to step beyond the ordinary.

This year’s keynote speaker, Dee Sanford, believes whenever we take the “dare” and achieve both major and minor victories, we unconsciously ignite and inspire others, giving them permission to also excel. We can and should share the power found in achievement with others, and “dare” them to create, survive, revive and thrive, even in difficult times.

Dee has stood the test of time, and has a wide reputation for daring to create and maintain unique experiences for herself and others that many enjoy and marvel at. For the past 16 years, as an independent business woman, Dee has spoken and trained audiences and traveled in many parts of the world, continued hosting monthly networking events for over 12 years, started a cable TV show that’s been on air for over 10 years, gotten herself on internet radio, won numerous awards, and, as a motivational speaker, church school teacher and friend, encouraged thousands to live their own dreams. She does not wait for “permission” to put her ideas into action, and regularly shares the power of daring to achieve.
